'Below Deck Mediterranean' Alums Delight Fans With New Music: How to Listen to 'New Horizons' Album
Time and distance can't keep Below Deck Mediterranean alums Colin Macy-O'Toole and Bobby Giancola apart. The pair recently reunited to compose a song together, shared on Macy-O'Toole's Instagram on Thursday.
But here's the catch: The former reality TV deckhands weren't actually together when they collaborated on the new tune. Instead, the composed the instrumental piece, dubbed, "New Horizons," completely virtually.
Giancola shared a video of the men performing the track together miles apart at their individual homes. Macy-O'Toole currently lives in New York while Giancola resides in Florida.
"Here's a little jam @colin_macyotoole and I came up with to brighten your day! We like to call it New Horizons! Hope y'all enjoy and have a great start to your weekend!" Giancola wrote alongside the video.
Macy-O'Toole similarly shared the same video on his social media accounts.
Fans were thrilled to see the pair making melodies together, and dozens of them left comments noting how "amazing" the song was and encouraged them to release more music. "You [two] sound great together. Sounds like a track that should be in a movie," one fan wrote on Twitter.

"You guys are so talented! Love it!" another wrote.
The video of Macy-O'Toole and Giancola made some fans miss watching them on the Bravo reality TV series, and some people expressed their desires to see both men return to the reality TV series. "Bobby! I have been watching reruns of med I miss you guys... Would be nice to see you back," one fan wrote.

Macy-O'Toole was known for sharing covers and original songs he created on social media, and viewers often looked forward to watching his hilarious show recap raps, during which he would perform a rap song based on the events of each episode. One of his most popular videos included a cover of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," in which he replaced the original lyrics with the story of yacht chef Mila Kolomeitseva's disastrous "fish from a can" tacos.
After spending two seasons sailing the Mediterranean aboard Captain Sandy Yawn's boat, Macy-O'Toole, known to fans as Colly Wolly, announced he would not return to Below Deck Mediterranean after Season 4.
"As our journey ends with the #belowdeckmed finale tonight, I want to thank everyone who has supported me, especially those I have met and worked with these last few years," he wrote on an Instagram post of the boat crew in September 2019.
He added: "The show wouldn't be the same without you all."
A former firefighter, Giancola left the show after Season 3. However, he still lives a life on the sea. Giancola announced he obtained his captain's license in June 2019.
